After dominant results at the Isle of Man TT races it was another successful weekend for K-Tech Suspension at round four of the MCE British Superbike Championship at the Snetterton 300 Circuit. Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne using KTR-3 Front forks and DDS Pro shock absorber was back on true form this weekend taking the double win in the Superbike class for the PBM Kawasaki team.
After his stunning podium place at the Donington World Supersport round youngster Kyle Ryde on his Pacedayz Yamaha using K-Tech DDS Package had a strong second place in the sprint race in the Motorpoint British Supersport Class. It was more dramatic in race two when Kyle took the lead from Luke Stapleford but on the last lap Luke lost the front on his Triumph and crashed out clipping the back wheel of Kyle Ryde also causing him to crash. Glenn Irwin was sat in third position and was happy to be elevated to his first win of the season.
Glenn – “K-Tech worked really hard with the Gearlink Kawasaki team on Saturday night and we made some big changes that worked really well for me. It’s great to take my first win of the year and I hope now we can move forward and get some more strong results.”
Likable Irishman Josh Elliott took his second win in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 class from fellow Irishman Alastair Seeley, both using DDS Cartridge and DDS Pro.
Pacedayz Yamaha rider Benji Currie also took the win in the Superstock 600 class contributing to K-Tech's six wins over the weekend.
